OpsPulse Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026. OpsPulse is operated by OpsAlignment.
OpsPulse is an operations platform that manufacturing plants use to collect shift data, run reports, track work, and get AI-assisted review of their operations. It is sold to organizations, not to individuals. In most cases your employer or the organization that invited you controls the data in its OpsPulse workspace, and OpsAlignment processes that data on its behalf. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who sees it, and the choices you have. It applies to the OpsPulse web application and its connectors.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. When you sign in with email and password we store your email and a hashed password. We also store your organization and plant membership and your role (for example admin, manager or user).
Content you and your organization enter. Form submissions, tracker rows, work orders, inventory counts, follow-ups, calendar events created in OpsPulse, notes, chat messages with the assistant, and files you attach to submissions. This content can include names and contact details of coworkers, contractors and vendors that your organization chooses to record.
Google Calendar data (optional, per user). If you connect your Google Calendar under Settings, OpsPulse reads your calendar events: title, description, start and end time, location, and attendee names and email addresses. We use the read-only calendar scopes; OpsPulse never creates, edits or deletes events in your Google Calendar.
Google Sheets data (optional, per organization). If an admin connects a Google account and binds a spreadsheet (for example a production schedule or inventory sheet), OpsPulse reads the contents of the sheets that admin selects and syncs them on a schedule. With the spreadsheet write permission, OpsPulse can append rows or update cells in those same spreadsheets. Writes happen only when a user confirms a proposed change or when an admin configures a job that writes a summary on a schedule. OpsPulse does not access other files in your Google Drive.
Email you send to OpsPulse. If your organization forwards email to a OpsPulse review address, we store that message, its attachments, and what we extract from it.
Technical and usage information. Server logs, error reports, connector sync-health records, and AI usage and cost records (tokens used per request). We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to return you to the page you asked for after sign-in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How we use information
- To provide the service: store and display your data, run reports, send scheduled emails and alerts, sync connected calendars and spreadsheets.
- To provide AI features: when you ask the assistant a question, run a review, generate a meeting prep, or when a scheduled check runs, the relevant data (including connected calendar and spreadsheet data) is sent to our AI provider to produce the answer.
- To keep the service secure, diagnose problems, and understand usage in aggregate.
- To communicate with you about the service, including alerts you or your organization configured.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data for advertising.
3. Google user data and the Limited Use policy
OpsPulse’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In particular, data obtained through Google APIs (Calendar and Sheets) is:
- used only to provide and improve the OpsPulse features you see, such as meeting preparation, schedule checks, reconciliations and reports;
- not used to serve advertisements;
- not sold, and not transferred to others except to provide the service (the processors listed below), with your consent, for security purposes, or to comply with law;
- not read by humans at OpsAlignment except with your consent, for security or abuse investigation, to comply with law, or in aggregated and anonymized form;
- not used to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Our AI provider processes it only to produce the response you asked for, under contractual terms that prohibit training on it.
4. Who we share information with
Within your organization, data is visible according to the roles and plants your admins configure. Outside your organization, we share data only with service providers that help us run OpsPulse, each bound by its own terms and confidentiality obligations:
- Supabase: database, authentication and file storage.
- Vercel: application hosting and scheduled jobs.
- Anthropic: the AI model behind the assistant, reviews and compiled checks. Anthropic’s commercial API terms do not permit it to train models on data sent through the API.
- Resend: outbound email (reports, alerts, digests).
- Postmark: receiving email forwarded to OpsPulse.
- Google: sign-in, and the Calendar and Sheets APIs when you connect them.
If your admin connects a third-party AI assistant to OpsPulse through our connector, the data that assistant requests on your behalf is processed by that assistant’s provider under its own terms.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of OpsAlignment, our customers or others, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply to the transferred data.
5. Retention and deletion
- Your organization’s data is kept while its account is active.
- Form submissions that a user deletes move to a Trash and are permanently purged after 30 days. Admins can restore them before then.
- Google Calendar and Sheets access tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and are deleted when you disconnect the account in Settings. Synced calendar events and sheet contents are removed or stop updating when the connection is removed.
- When an organization ends its use of OpsPulse, we delete its data on request, and otherwise within a reasonable period after termination, except for backups that expire on their own schedule and records we must keep by law.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our hosting providers. Each organization’s data is isolated by row-level access rules in the database. Connector credentials are encrypted with a key held separately from the database. Access to production systems is limited to OpsAlignment personnel who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify your organization’s admins without undue delay.
7. Your choices and rights
- Disconnect Google Calendar or a Google account at any time under Settings in OpsPulse. You can also revoke OpsPulse’s access from your Google Account permissions page.
- Ask your organization’s admin to correct or delete content about you, or to remove your account.
- Email us at jlinton@opsalignment.com to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to ask any privacy question. Where your organization is the controller, we may refer the request to it.
8. Children
OpsPulse is a workplace tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. International users
OpsPulse is hosted in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. For material changes we will notify organization admins by email.
